RACAL

This section of my website lists and describes the various Racal receivers and associated hardware in my collection. Ironically, my first encounter with a Racal receiver, namely an RA17 with the serial number N664, was somewhat under-whelming; but as will become clear later there was a reason for that. Over the years I have set myself the task of having at least one Racal receiver from each of the decades between the 1950s and the 1990s, when Racal ceased to exist (as a brand).
